GREAT DANES
We got our first Dane Smudge (Dapledan Byron) from Alan Cutter in May 2000, as a pet and never intended to show him until we went to Crufts in 2001 and thought I could do that. So Later that year I started training with him at our local Ring craft. And with a little bit of luck I was getting placed at Championship shows, then in 2003 at the Richmond Championship show I was placed 3rd in the Limit class and gained my stud book number from the Kennel Club and qualified for Crufts. We where lucky to get placed 2nd at Crufts 2007 in the veteran class
We now have 4 Danes in the household. This include Skye a rescued Merle girl, Belle a Fawn girl (Vavavoom Sleeping Beauty) From Laura Smith and Brownie (Fawnrush Sitting By The Lake) a Fawn Boy that we have bred. Also a rescued Old English Sheepdog whom we have had for about 4 years now.
All our dogs are family members who have the run of the house with our 4 children aged 1 to 7 years
